Kiev offers a variety of sites and luxuries, from its majestic architectural prowess to the simple, but lovely treks at the Dnipro River. The Dnipro River may not be that great looking but the view of the city from the boat is exhilarating. From the boat you can clearly see the outline of Kiev's beautiful buildings and River, eastern central Europe.
Dnipro River is one of the longest rivers in Europe. It starts out in the west of Moscow and flows right through Ukraine and Belarus, with the Black Sea, as its last destination. The river is an important part of the countries it passes through, for many hydroelectric plants and huge dams operate in its basin.
An important shipping arsenal, boats and ships frequently pass the river. Recently, however, more and more boats have been offering tours so the locals and the tourists can experience seeing Ukraine from the water.
Aside from the great view of Kiev, one can also enjoy seeing the different colors erupting in the sky during the Fireworks festival. A boat ride between friends or even couples is recommended, especially if it's your first time in the city of Kiev.
Summertime is the best time to visit and go boating in Dnipro. Ukrain during summer is glorious, and they show it by staging the annual boat cruise. Activities for the boat cruise ranges from leisurely trips to Kiev and Velykiyy Island, exciting water sports, and the list grows longer each summer.
When in Kiev, a boat trip is a must. No trip is complete without seeing Ukraine's majestic buildings contrasting with the river's colors.
